12/17: Last Day of Semester 1

12/20-1/4: Winter Break

1/5: First Day of Semester 2

Drop-Off Update <IMPORTANT!>

Marvel Families,

To decrease the number of students receiving detentions for being tardy to school, we will be changing our morning drop-off routine. Beginning Monday, November 29, 2021, all students arriving at 8:30AM must be signed in by a guardian or parent. Please plan to have your student dropped off at school before 8:25AM so that they may have time to eat breakfast and report to class on time. You may begin dropping students off as early as 7:30AM when the gates open.

If you have any questions, reach out to Ms. Kaveeshwar, Principal, or Ms. Laws, Director of Student Support.

Senior Drum Ceremony Live Stream

Greetings Parents!

The class of 2022 will be the first class to start the tradition of an annual Senior Drum Ceremony! The ceremony will take place twice a year and will allow Seniors  to announce the colleges they have been accepted too thus far. We are extremely proud of their accomplishments and want to make sure they are celebrated. Due to Covid restrictions, we will be hosting the ceremony online. If you want to participate in the ceremony a link have been provided below:

Cold Weather Reminders

As the weather gets colder, we would like to remind families that the building at YES Prep West does not open until 8am. Any student that is dropped off or arrives before 8am will need to wait outside in our fenced in area until the building opens. Please ensure that your student is dressed accordingly for the colder weather.
