BHM T-Shirts:

We are now taking orders for West’s annual BHM t-shirt! T-shirts are $15, and hoodies are $25. There is an additional upcharge for 2X/3X sizing ($2 more) and 4X/5X sizing ($4 more). Cash can be paid at the Front Office or you can send your payment through cash app (with your name and size in the description). Last day to purchase is this Friday, 2/10. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Wildman!

 

Upcoming Testing

This message is to inform you that the week of March 6^th – 9^th students will be taking their Common Assessment exams in class. It is very important that students attend school and arrive to class on time this week so that they can complete their exams. The exams are 5% of their semester average. If students miss any exams and the opportunity to retake the exam, it will result in a grade of 50 being entered for each course in which an exam is missed. Some best practices to prepare for the exams are to rest, eat breakfast, and study.

Please ensure that your student is arriving on time with their laptop and charger. Thank you for your continued support.

 

TELPAS Schedule for Emerging Bilingual Students

If your student is identified as an Emerging Bilingual, they will be taking their TELAPS (Texas Assessment of Learning Proficiency and Skills) test in the upcoming weeks. Students are tested to evaluate their growth and proficiency in the English language over the course of the year. It is VERY important that students are present for testing. Please see the dates below that your student will be testing, and reach out to holly.wight@yesprep.org with any questions regarding TEPAS or EB's. 

Unified Tutorials Schedule

Unified Tutorials will run from 4:00-4:30 on the following days. If your student is scheduled to appear for Unified Tutorials, they should report to the cafeteria immediately following the dismissal bell. Attendance at Unified Tutorials is mandatory.
