Bathroom Update
There have been an alarming number of incidents and vandalism in both the downstairs and upstairs boys restrooms. Currently, we are in the process of replacing all partitions and doors with a completion date of end of next week. This means that our upstairs boys restrooms are currently without partitions or stall doors. Our first floor boys restrooms are fully functional. We share this message to gather support from our families to please discuss proper bathroom etiquette and to place emphasis on reporting any inappropriate use of our shared facilities with the Front Office team or the Student Support Team. Thank you for your help and support!
Late Pick Ups:
We have had an increase in students not picked up on time from school and afterschool activities. Students should be picked up from 4:00PM dismissal no later than 4:30PM. If students cannot be picked up before 4:30PM, students are required to enroll in ASPIRE After School Programming. ASPIRE runs from 4:00-5:30PM Monday through Thursday. Students must be picked up 15 minutes after activities end. There is no Campus Admin after 6:00PM. Parents who do not pick up students before 6:00PM are at risk for elevated consequences.
STAAR Tutorials!
Tuesday, September 12th is the first day of our STAAR Unified Tutorials. If your student received a letter for STAAR Tutorials for Math or Science, please be sure that they stay after school for their first tutorial on Tuesday. Students who received a letter for English or Social Studies, need to stay on Wednesday from 4:00pm-5:30pm. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Garza at 346-899-8099. Thank you.
This event will also be our official campus "Title 1 Meeting," where parents can help decide how and where we use certain funds on our campus. Please join us to give input - your voice matters!

Attendance matters and we are here to help!
We are here to help! We know that you may have some needs that arise as a parent/guardian that may impede you from being able to get your child to school. You can receive direct help by submitting a “Student Assistance Form” or, a SAF. To communicate any support needs you may have, please click here to submit a SAF! A campus Student Support Counselor will follow-up with you to determine the best way to get your need met.
SAFs can be submitted for:

Student Attendance Update
Students are marked absent for the day if they arrive to school after 10:00 AM. Daily student attendance is taken in all class periods.
Remember that students can entire the building as early as 8:00 AM and are considered tardy after 8:30 AM.
This week, we had on average 68 kids absent each day. Our goal is to have less than 40 kids absent each day.
Please help our students get to school every day on-time so that we can do our part to prepare them for success.
- Our ADA goal = 95%
- Our current ADA = 94.6%
